The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) has officially granted accreditation to all ThinkTank Learning centers as of February 2, 2015. This was the best possible outcome of our self-study report and the WASC committee’s visit to our learning centers. All students, parents, teachers, consultants, and staff played a critical role in earning this accreditation status. Congratulations! We will continue our dedication on fostering a progressive student learning environment!
What does this mean for our parents and students?
An accreditation from WASC means you can rest assured that your child is attending a trustworthy institution dedicated to improving a student’s academic success. All California public and private high schools are required to be WASC-accredited in order to establish and maintain an “a-g” course list.
Universities and colleges examine transcripts to determine whether the student has attended a WASC-accredited high school. This accreditation requires us to maintain our high quality courses as well as continued improvements to our curriculum. After all education is our life’s work and we plan to keep it that way.
