ThinkTank Learning was founded in 2002 by three U.C. Berkeley graduates who had grown tired of the traditional approach to education. Steven Ma, current ThinkTank Learning President and a former high school math teacher recalls, “We were just sickened that students were being short-changed by the educational system – students were bored, their demands weren’t being met, and they were not achieving what we knew they could. “

Since then, ThinkTank Learning has grown quickly, from a small, 100-square-foot office to a company with 13 centers serving the bay area – Cupertino, Fremont, Pleasanton, San Jose, Palo Alto, San Mateo, San Ramon, Millbrae, and San Francisco as well as 3 centers serving in China. The PCAP, short for Premium College Admission Package, has become the company’s hottest service and has been well received by many Bay Area parents. ThinkTank Learning now sends hundreds of students to top universities each year.
