Will Miller is a college readiness expert and admissions strategist. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, a Master’s degree in K-12 Education from Prairie View A&M University, and a second Master’s degree in Higher Education from Columbia University in New York City.

Before joining ThinkTank Learning, Will partnered with prospective college students for two decades to help them get accepted into some of the most highly selective colleges and universities in the U.S. He has a wealth of experience as a high school teacher and a coach, a senior level college guidance counselor and an Ivy League college administrator.

He lives on the campus of Yale University and serves as fellow of the college and advisor to first-year students. Prior to Yale, Will worked as an admissions consultant at Princeton University reading and evaluating applications, so he has insight into what differentiates a likely to admit candidate from one who is not.

Since Will works both with high school students and college students, he understands where his students come from and he also provides a unique perspective on where they are going.

Will’s consulting approach is grounded in the belief that you can’t make decisions unless you have options, so he believes the decisions that he helps his students make creates options that drive results. He’s a winner and his coaching background helps him get the most out of his students while at the same time equipping them with the competitive edge necessary to make their college dreams a reality.

“I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.”
