Jeff earned his B.A. degree Summa Cum Laude in Psychology with a Minor in English from National University. Jeff is a full-time instructor for the Fremont Center and teaches English up to the AP level (including SAT, ACT, and TOEFL prep) as well as AP Psychology. He has been working with ThinkTank since November 2012, and since then has helped numerous students with their English essays (many of which were for honors and AP English classes) and preparation for the SAT, ACT, AP Language, AP Literature, AP Psychology and TOEFL exams. Jeff has a passion for teaching and learning, and he enjoys working with students to help them develop their critical reading, writing, and analysis skills.

While studying psychology at National, Jeff specialized in adolescent development and research. His senior project provided an extensive multimodal overview of the history and current methods used to diagnose and treat Mood Disorders (Major Depression and Bipolar Disorder) in adolescents. Jeff’s educational background and specializations include his profound interests and passions: psychology (history, development, personality, mental disorders, social, and cultural) philosophy (western and eastern), and English literature (British and American). He has written many college essays on a widespread number of topics including: student-centered learning, cultural-bound syndromes, comparing Chinese and English poetry, Shakespeare, Romanticism, Modernism, and Ethics.
