Subjects:

Math, English

Originally from the Bay Area,  Margaret has tutored a variety of students in multiple subjects both in Northern and Southern California.  However, currently, she focuses on tutoring all levels of English and Math.  While in high school, Margaret began tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club of East Palo Alto.  She then transitioned to work for Tutor Doctor in Cupertino tutoring students one on one to help them either catch up on school work or get ahead for the upcoming school year.  While at UCLA, she took on the role of the Tutoring Director for CHAMPs, a club on campus that tutors and mentors students K-12 in downtown Los Angeles.  She believes that it is very important to plan lessons according to each student’s learning style as this increases their success rate, and so this is what she strives to do as a tutor at ThinkTank Learning.  Aside from tutoring, Margaret enjoys volleyball, art (specifically acrylic and oil painting), traveling, reading, and of course taking a day off to simply relax at the beach.
