B.S. from UCLA, double majored in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
Originally from the Bay Area, I have tutored a variety of students in multiple subjects both in Northern and Southern California. However, currently, I focus on tutoring all levels of English and Math. While in high school, I began tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club of East Palo Alto. I then transitioned to work for Tutor Doctor in Cupertino tutoring students one on one to help them either catch up on school work or get ahead for the upcoming school year. While at UCLA, I took on the role of the Tutoring Director for CHAMPs, a club on campus that tutors and mentors students K-12 in downtown Los Angeles. I believe that it is very important to plan lessons according to each student’s learning style as this increases their success rate, and so this is what I strive to do as a tutor at ThinkTank Learning. Aside from tutoring, I enjoy volleyball, art (specifically acrylic and oil painting), traveling, reading, and of course taking a day off to simply relax at the beach.
